Monday 7/21

Hello! My plan for this space is to give a quick weekly (ish) update of the progress on our goals, what you missed from a meeting or event, and where you should go to take action next. So let’s jump in with a recap of last Monday’s inaugural speaker series!

Toni Easter, Respect MO Voters

Passing this legislation is one of Indivisible Stl’s biggest goals this year. When passed, it will prevent politicians from:

  • Overturning initiatives that voters have already passed.

  • Attacking citizens' ability to use the initiative process.

  • Deceiving voters with confusing ballot language

You see why this is critical. RIGHT NOW, this initiative needs volunteers to collect signatures, notarize the petitions when they start coming in and make phone calls to get people on board. There’s one month left in this segment of the campaign. They’ve got all kinds of resources and support. If you’d like to help, go HERE

Craig Zumsteg, Heartland Wins

Craig has a plan to flip Ann Wagner’s seat, and he’s not the guy running. You heard that right. Because he wants to…listen. To people. Got your attention? He got mine. I think he can do it, because he is focused on talking to people right now about what they are concerned about, not about party topics. Flipping this seat changes the votes in Missouri. It changes down ballot votes, and it changes real lives.

He needs volunteers to help canvas and LISTEN. If you’d like to join him, find out more HERE
